Updated: June 24, 2013 7:32AM Five men were killed and at least 28 other people were wounded in shootings across the city since Friday evening. The first fatal shooting occurred in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side about 7:50 p.m. Four people were sitting on a porch in the 2900 block of North Kilpatrick Avenue when an unknown male approached on foot and opened fire, police said. A 21-year-old man died a short time later at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, police said.
